The body with hydraulic roll-up tarps was specially developed for transporting beverages. It is equipped with a 24 volt autonomous hydraulic unit separate from the elevating tailgate. In the event of the tailgate breaking, the tarps can still function. As such, with this system the tailgate unit will last much longer.
Our hydraulic system is special:
- It not only takes care of rolling the tarps, but also (and in particular), it acts as a load restraint, thanks to two hydraulic brakes fitted to the tarpaulins’ rolling tubes.
- In addition to these brakes, there are 4 mechanical locking mechanisms pneumatically controlled through electronic risk management. This is an essential part of safely transporting beverages.
We use a system of sliding panels (as an option) which slide the full length of the body. These panels contain the last pallets.
